Welcome to Spring Board Civic Pool. Spring Board has been a staple in the Spring Branch community since 1956. We pride ourselves in being a family friendly pool that offers a lifetime of memories. Spring Board was the idea and brain child of 6 men in the Spring Branch and Long Point Woods neighborhoods. Since the day they broke ground, Spring Board has served as a place where friends and neighbors meet to enjoy a day or night of conversation, swimming, food, drinks and fun. In 2016, we hosted a 60th birthday celebration for the pool and had members from each decade come to share stories and memories of their time at Spring Board.
Spring Board is run by a volunteer board. Board members spend their time cleaning the pool, maintaining the grounds, becoming “Mr (and Ms.) Fix-Its, welcoming members and so much more. We rely on memberships and donations to fund the pool each year.
Spring Board is a swim at your own risk pool. We offer all members access during business hours. We also host several events during the year. Some events we have hosted in the past are “Sink-O” De Mayo, Crawfish Boils, Easter Egg Hunts, Ladies Nights, Movie Nights, BBQ Cook-Offs and much more. We are proud to continue our annual 4th of July Parade and Celebration as we have done since the pool opened 65 years ago.
Our official kick-off to summer is always on Memorial Day Weekend where we celebrate “Splash Day” on Monday. However, our pool grounds are open to members year-round.
We hope you will join our Spring Board family for a summer full of fun and share memories with your family, friends and neighbors that you will cherish forever.
*Board member positions are entirely volunteer*
